At Wyrdwood Studio we value our customers safety and privacy, this means we are dedicated in protecting our customers data and being transparent with what information we may hold.
Our privacy policy helps us show you what data we collect, use and share to third parties if needed when you make a purchase, use one of our services or contact us with any general enquiries or custom information.
Personal data we collect
Data we may collect includes the following:
Personal details:
- Name
- Address
- Contact information
Payment details:
- Account information (suppliers)
- Billing Address
- Payment method
Transmitted data files including personal data:
- Pictures / Digital artwork
- Asset information files (includes CAD files, Photoshop / AI etc..)
- Media files (Music, video files)
- Customer information documents (emails, PDFs, Word documents etc…)
This data would only be collected when processing orders, services, bespoke work , opt in email communication and general marketing.
How your data is used
We only request relevant data to enable us to fulfil the process required this includes:
- Processing and fulfilling customer orders
- Customer details in regards of communication and providing support to our customers
- Data relevant for bespoke items for reference (messages, dates etc…)
- Customer issues and queries
- Product and service guarantees, returns etc….
- Sending out requested product updates, marketing and information
Data storage
We aim to keep our customers information safe at all times and take precautions not to keep non relevant information in our system. Any information kept by us is password protected or would be held by a third party which we disclose in our shared information section and would be protected by the third parties systems which are GDPR regulated.
We are a UK based company and comply with current UK and EU laws and regulations for information protection.
Data storage items include:
- Invoices and receipts information, usually kept up to 7 years
- Email and phone contact details as part of our client list
- Transmitted records and customer business reference documents would usually be deleted (or retained upon request) after project completion.
- Customer details would be kept for quotes and bespoke work for up to 6-8 weeks and would then be deleted.
- Social media messaging including Facebook, Google +, Twitter and instagram, (some messages can only be archived at the moment but users can delete information from their own accounts which would remove access from us).
Shared information
Third Party Platforms
Information stored via third parties such as Mailchimp, Google, Paypal, iZettle, Etsy, Amazon Handmade and Folksy would be controlled via their platforms and would be entered by the customer and stored under their own privacy policies as we do not control or own these.
The customer would have to access the individual websites to access and remove their data.
Carrier and shipping companies
We use RoyalMail (UK) as our main courier but may use other services depending upon the goods/documents being posted. The information that we require to send parcels is the only information we would disclose unless request by the customer through written means and we would never include further information than necessary.
Your data, Your rights!
Your data is personal to you and we would always disclose what data that we hold about you upon request and its your right to request the deletion of all data held about you.
The right to delete your data maybe refused in exceptional circumstances for instance, For legal reasons we may have to store your information until the time we can then delete it from our systems. But we will always aim to resolve this quickly and efficiently.
